Get to know your local farms! We hold monthly farm visits, each time a new farm, where the public can tour the farms, pet the animals, and learn about the their sustainable practices. Plus, you can purchase the farmer’s products! Stay tuned for this months farm visit.
Community Garden
Join our community garden! We currently grow a wide range of fruits, vegetables, legumes, and even flowers. If you participate once a week, you can reap the benefits of our garden! (All leftover produce is donated to local food shelters)
Animal Welfare Rally & Protest
Get involved in the fight for animal welfare! We hold monthly rallies, where like-minded individuals can gather to listen to speakers (ranging from leaders of animal rights organizations to local politicians) and raise awareness for the cause. Following the speakers, we will end in a march to the nearby factory farm to peacefully protest their unethical practices.
Farmers Workshop
Are you a farmer interested in making your production more sustainable? Come to one of our workshops, where we will tell you everything you need to know to make your farm more eco-friendly. Topics include composting, soil conservation, natural pest control, and rotational grazing. Hosted every other Wednesday at 5pm, starting May 10th. Come join us!
Weekly Farmers Market!
Every Saturday morning, 9am-11am, ASF hosts a farmers market, bringing together over a dozen local farms to sell their produce. Come join us to buy delicious food, meet your local farmers, and support the sustainable farming movement!
